VAPA Visual and Performing Arts GHS’s Center for the Arts is a prestigious and multiple awards winning arts program. Among many individual program and student awards we have won, all of the following were given for excellence in arts education:
- The BRAVO AWARD presented by the Los Angeles Music Center Education Division for the most outstanding arts school in Southern California.
- The BRAVO AWARD to Ms. Amy Rangel, our instrumental teacher, for the most outstanding specialist teacher.
- CREATIVE TICKET SCHOOL OF DISTINCTION AWARD presented by the California Alliance for Arts Education (CAAE).
- CREATIVE TICKET NATIONAL SCHOOL OF DISTINCTION presented by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
